DateShip uses the following categories of providers. Each receives information relevant to its service. Providers processing information on our behalf must protect it under our instructions and applicable law; some sign-in and delivery services also process information under their own terms.
- Hosting and storage
- Account and pair information, shared content and technical records needed to operate, secure and back up the service.
- Account sign-in
- Information needed to verify the sign-in method you choose and protect account access.
- Email and notifications
- Email addresses, device delivery identifiers and message content needed for account emails and partner notifications.
- Product analytics
- Feature-use events and a pseudonymous identifier to understand and improve the app. No photos, captions, names or emails in these events.
- AI and search — planned
- City, budget, preferences and text entered for a place recommendation. This feature is not currently enabled; personal data will only be sent after the required disclosure and permission.
Main application data is stored in Germany and analytics in the EU. Other processing may take place internationally, including in the United States. Retention, deletion, international-transfer safeguards and your choices are described in the Privacy Policy.
